About me
I’m Elies Bergboer — curator of compositions - in objects, space and time,
My work unfolds in layers.
Not from a final image,
but from the rhythm in which something begins to reveal itself.
I collect, arrange, and show.
Not to fix things in place,
but to create space where work can breathe.
Sometimes that happens in The LHOFT —
my space for installations and encounters.
Sometimes in collaboration, sometimes alone.
Sometimes in images — still photographs, in-between moments, cyclical work.
I don’t work linearly, but cyclically.
Not in productions, but in phases.
Sometimes visible. Sometimes carrying.
Always evolving.
I believe meaning is not added,
but made visible.
In remnants. In rhythm. In things that align just right —
next to each other, in a space, or in a season.
